Clothing sales for shoe string budgets

Clothing sales over the past 5 months have surpassed online revenues in the past 5 years. With department store sales, incentive promotions, and GWP's (gift with purchase) consumers have overcome their fears of online shopping and credit card fraud. Surely the 30%-50% promo emails and banners form major department stores like Bloomingdale's that drop in our email and postage box help convince consumers that great deals are waiting, so act now!

On a personal note, I spent roughly $1700.00 at Bloomingdale's online store. I scored 3 pairs of shoes, one coat, 2 handbags, one pair of pants, a belt, sweater, and a dress. I could easily spend that money and get one pair of shoes and a coat. Everyone clearly has a different budget for shopping, but I certainly encourage you to checkout some of the great deals that these store are offering. See below for details:

Bloomingdales: 30%-50% off through December 6th.

Lord & Taylor: 40%-50% off winter coats & huge shoe sale

Macy's: 25%-50% off handbags & coat, dress, cashmere sale

Saks 5th Avenue: up to 40% on Woman's / Men's collections

My only recommendation is to shop online and avoid the aftermath of big sale events. Online shopping is easier as you can view all the sale items and returns are relatively painless. Your best bet is to stock up on denim and some cute dresses!

Enjoy!

Today New york City is preparing for the Halloween fright fest that strolls down through the village. The Halloween parade in NYC is along past tradition that is completely crazy. There's nothing like it in the world and that maybe a good thing. Sunday the famous New York City IMG marathon. there's a lot of tourists in town for the weekend. They could very well be in for a trick as Manhattan celebrates Halloween religiously. I can't imagine how many Amy Winehouse costumes are out there tonight. I think i will be a mime. Not just any mime, but a mime sublime fashionista! It gives me the chance to wear Haute Couture that I would otherwise never wear in a million years.

So because I design Haute couture, I will have a unique little ensemble that was influenced by this photo. It has taken some time to construct, but I take my Halloween straight up on the rocks!

Share some of you signature sugar style! What are you wearing today? It's always interesting to see what people wear to express themselves. Whether its a mood, emotion, or just a random selection you threw on because all of your other clothes are at the cleaners, we want to know.... WHAT ARE YOU WEARING TODAY???

Me - I was feeling monochromatic. I think last nights debate left me feeling indifferent. Wearing a dark top and equally dark bottom make me look taller. It also lets me add a fun piece of light jewelry. I guess "all the love" is my necklace today!

my jeans - 7's

my top - plum low scoop neck

my shoes - Michael K heather grey peep toes

Neck wear - Tiffany inspired glass floral with ribbon band
